Hi everyone,

I`m glad to announce that new beta version is ready - 20.6.2416 (build 20.6.5438).

What was fixed
Fixed BSOD during stopping AV services
Fixed incorrect UI behavior, when Remote Access Shield was not installed the shield was visible in UI
Fixed issue when IDP incorrectly informed that file can/cannot be removed during detection
Fixed issue in UI when some buttons on dialogues were not visible when user had two monitors with different resolution

Known issues
When Remote Access Shield or Real Site are disabled, there is a list of errors displayed in UI
When is enabled passive mode AV service and UI does not start

A question about Remote Access Shield… is there any kind of blacklists for RAS, or just block all accesses?
I tried to connect to my machine from smartphone and it just worked.

When is this Bug going to be addressed, Firewall remembering the choice to run an exe.

Even worse when you consider it is an Avast file, who is testing this stuff ???
Bugs are just living too long without being squashed.

Here icarus.exe starts from different path every time (or maybe not every, but often) and that confuses Comodo Firewall too…
Is your all firewall entry for icarus.exe have the same path?

Hi NON,

Remote access shield (in default setting) blocks:

  • brute-force attacks
  • RDP connections coming from malicious IP addresses
  • RDP exploits (bluekeep)

If you want to limit RDP access to a specific IP address or range of IP addresses just go to shield settings and enable “Block all connections except the following” checkbox.

Hi,

Still have conflict with widows installer as it said " WI stop to work "

One of AV agent is in conflict and soon as i uninstall beta or previous stable version till May 2020 non more trouble.

It only happen on my Dell D630 on Seven Pro 64. :frowning: :frowning:

Once again, for me and maybe for some who could have the same problem the last stable working AV was in April.

After same problem since May and also for Beta version.

On my Asus I7 never have such problem on w8.1 64
