Hi everyone,

I`m glad to announce that new beta version is ready - 20.6.2418 (build 20.6.5480).

What was fixed
Fixed issue with not running AV service and UI when user enabled passive mode and restarted
Fixed crash in UI
Fixed issue with Instup.exe and Icarus.exe generating a lot of FW rules and asking for permission
Fixed issue that Chrome browser was not installed even when the checkbox was selected in Chrome browser offer
Fixed issue when in some rare cases creation of rescue disk failed
Fixed issue when there was a conflict with windows installer

Thank you for improving avast accessibility. I tried to install avast on a virtual machine with the NVDA screenreader, and I could get by pressing the tab key to the install button, and I could also check the button for the installation of chrome browser. Later, I didn’t disable the self-defence mode, to check, if the screenreader could have access to the interface of avast free antivirus, and read the elements of it, for example the status button, or smart scan button. And it works.

I received the same Screen as Asyn this morning.

I’ve done a restart and haven’t seen the UI start on it’s own since.

Just got this after reboot so the Flash Screen I received this morning informing that the Software had been updated obviously didn’t affect the bug. :-\

[Bug Report] Since this beta session started, notifications in UI are deleted during updates.
