New beta version 21.10.2496

Hi everyone,

there is a new beta version ready - 21.10.2496 (build 21.10.6726).

What’s new

• enhanced removal component (improved scheduled task tracking and added path air cover)

What’s fixed

• fixed conflict with LiveGuard anti-cheat protection
• BSOD caused by Self-Protection module

Known issues

• problem with script shield not detecting specific samples
• crash in Rescue Disk when closing it
• a few application crashes

The beta updated the UI to .677, but a subsequent reboot reverted it back to .675 (once again).

Hi Asyn, thank you for your report. The version is ok. We switch between versions this way usually based on findings from internal/BETA/public channels (e.g. bug or so)

Hi, there are three options…

1. Wait until it’s available for all Avast Free users.
2. Switch to beta-channel, it’s available there.
3. Switch to Avast One Essential (FW included).

So what I ask is whether it is safe and supports using Avast One essential for the Indonesian state, later there will be problems in updating virus definitions and applications ?
