there is a new beta version ready - 21.11.2500 (build 21.11.6809).

What’s fixed

  • deadlock in importing settings from file
  • conflict between two internal security components making MS Internet Explorer unable to run

Also please be informed that we would appreciate if you would be so kind and try our Antivirus product based on so called “icarus” setup (installation and update engine) already used for other Avast products but now available also for AV. Please note that in order to get it, you need to uninstall the current one (automatic migration is not supported at the moment).

Hi, I can export the settings again, but is it on purpose that you need to use/enter a custom name now…!?

Hi Asyn, not sure from top of my head but something is telling me you are right. There is a plan to re-test this functionality in the future as even now we found out some of the settings does not work well after import and/or reset so we will focus on it and will touch the reported issue too. Thank you for your feedback.
