Hello everyone,

We have released another Beta version of Avast Cleanup product (21.3.10846)!

What’s new in Avast Cleanup product?

  • A new logo for Avast! — As the digital world changes, we change with it. We’re proud to unveil a new expression of our identity, reflecting our continued commitment to protecting people’s digital freedom.
  • Update more programs – Our updater supports a lot of new programs. Now Cleanup can update Discord, AnyDesk, KeePass, Paint.NET, Steam, Sumatra PDF, Telegram, Total Commander, Viber, WhatsApp, WinSCP, and Zoom.
  • Improved - Rescue Center now stores all the backups for 1 month instead of 2 weeks so you have more time to revert the changes you made with the product.
  • Fixed - Not possible to update iTunes in Software Update feature.
  • Fixed - Broken web app links from Google Chrome after cleaning.
  • Fixed - Banner is visible over all screens and thus sometimes covered the other functionalities (e.g. setting).
  • Apart from that, we fixed many other bugs and made under-the-hood improvements to keep Cleanup working smoothly.

How can you help?

[ol]- If you already have a Beta version installed you should get an update automatically (update checks for a new version every 12 hours) if you don’t have it yet proceed with the next step to install it.

  • Download the Beta version: https://honzik.avcdn.net/setup/avast-tu/beta/avast_tu_online_setup.exe.
  • Execute the installation package and go through the wizard to install the product.
  • The product shall guide you or you can freely navigate through it and try it on your own to see how it works.
  • Please try as much features as you can to see how they work and check whether there are any bugs or unexpected behavior.
  • If you find any bugs during testing, please create a new thread in this forum section.
  • Please provide us also with feedback about what you like most and what you would change.
  • Since we aim to deliver the best Cleanup product - would you add anything to Cleanup that is missing? Do not hesitate to share your feedback![/ol]

SOme times Cleanup takes lots of CPus,it should be fix by developer

Hi,

Could you please be more specific? When and how often does it happen to you?

Also could you please provide us with the logs so we can analyze what is happening on your PC?
You can simply send them by executing our log collector utility from this path C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Cleanup\tulogcollector.exe and once the logs are collected they will be automatically sent to our server.
Once it is done, please let me know which email address you have used there so we can join the logs with your report here.

avast cleanup is taking lots of Cpus,Memory when i start my pc and sometime takes cpu and memory when i use my pc more than 1 hour

and i sent my log file few minutes ago

there’s a code that’s generated when you created the logs.
You need to post that code so Avast can match your logs to the submission.

actually there is no any code,there has COLLECT LOGS AND SEND. i did it
