Thanks for the new beta
Yeah, I wonder why Win+X menu is not working recently. Glad (?) to know it’s caused (and fixed) by Avast.

Monitoring.
EDIT: What wasn’t working about it previously, I still have avast! free 24.6.6121 (build 24.6.9241.848) UI 1.0.809 (not currently using the beta).
The Windows+x ‘appears’ to be working on this Win 10 (edit typo) system.

Don’t understand coorelation of avast! free 24.6.6121 and Win XP system in your post above. Typo?
Avast 18 being the last to run on WinXP.
Or are you saying Windows+x works on Avast 18 on a different WinXP rig.
Thanks for the update and mainly, the x-menu fix.
It wasn’t just the x-menu. Most right clicks on the Taskbar didn’t work. Now fixed.

Win+X menu itself could be opened, but the menu was not functioning. Nothing happened on clicking these menus (like “Event Viewer” for example).

Just checked that and no problem there either, see attached. It did take a few seconds to display.
Since you aren’t using the Beta version, this would not have affected you.

I had to uninstall the last beta because Win+X and Taskbar functions not working. I then installed Stable non-beta version. I also found that for last few betas, the ‘Do Not Disturb’ settings cannot stick. The Stable version works fine.
