Thanks for explanation, but it’s not what user expect when he have a real trouble.
Just imagine, your PC was infected and internet connection was disabled by malware, avast found the virus but can’t remove it, so you’re going to schedule the boot-time scan, but stuck with no internet…

In the "new" design, libraries required by the boot time scan are downloaded when user schedules the scan for the first time.
Meaning, you just can't run it if there are problems with the internet but also if you create a rescue disk and want to use it on a standalone system that is not connected to the internet.

I simply don’t understand the ‘logic’, if any, for such a decision while, as mentioned, other modules are kept that have nothing to so with security (for example: Avast Cleanup).
I just shake my head at this one. ::slight_smile:
