I don’t understand. In the Beta channel section there is a post, dated same time as this, saying a new Beta 90.1 is released. https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=272627.0
So is it a Beta or Production release you are putting out?
Please make clear.
This is not the first time we have had posts advertising both Beta and Production releases simultaneously for same version. It hints at poor Avast QA.
When i try to translet bangla to english or english to bangla language or voice tranlate.it doest work in an Avast secure browser.but it works on GOOGLE.here is screenshoot.for this reason now i am using google.when avast team fix this problem i will use secure browser
Hi Rocksteady,
the version is usually released to Beta a day or two in advance and then the version is released to some production users (not all). If there are no issues found, we continuously roll it out to all users in a week. Sometimes the version can be released to Beta and some Production users at the same time. It depends on the features or fixes in the particular version. I hope I made it clearer for you.
No that does not make it any clearer to me I’m afraid.
If a version is released and announced as Production at a date and time, and same version is also released as a Beta at the same date and time, then it is surely no longer a Beta release, it is a Production release. The Beta based on it should have the next version number.
Never mind, you have your methods. I will not take these annoucements too seriously in the future.
I am sorry if I made you take these announcements not seriously. This situation happens very rarely and in that case, it is a very small amount of users and a different group every time, so I still see the huge importance of the Beta channel. I looked into the real release dates and the announcement dates for this release and figured the announcement was delayed for Beta. So, the two versions weren’t released together at all. I am sorry about that, it is my human error. I will do my best to make them more precise. Thank you for your understanding.
nadimmahmudkitkat1, Translate works for you in Avast Secure Browser? It’s never worked for me the entire time I’ve had Avast Secure Browser, and I have the paid version of Avast. I just assumed that function was turned off for security reasons or something, since it never worked. Have to go to a non-Avast browser if I want to have a page translated.
