New browser version 95.0

Hello everyone,

We’re pleased to announce that we have released a new beta version of Avast Secure Browser (ASB) for Windows - version 95.0 to some users. This version will be rolled out to all users over the coming days/weeks.

This version includes major Chromium update and many fixes, including the following:

  • We implemented tooltips to be able to give you a hint if some functionality is not clear
  • Improved the overall stability of the Browser, we fixed a few crashes reported by you, thank you!
  • You can turn Anti-phishing on and off again on the tile in the private mode now
  • We improved the performance of the Browser when you are using Anti-phishing
  • Browser PRO: fix to crash happening when trying to disable VPN while offline
  • Browser PRO: You now don’t have to activate your license twice when you are in Bank mode
  • Many minor design improvements and fixes

How to get this latest version
If you have ASB already installed, it should be updated automatically (feel free to visit ‘secure://settings/help’ to trigger an update faster)
