New computer: can't load bored panda website just keeps loading

hello all

I just got a new gaming computer and downloaded Avast. I now find that one of my favorite sites (that downloaded fine on the old computer with Avast) will keep up a loading screen without going to the website.

I am not very computer saavy: no error messages, no ‘unsecure site’ notes…just won’t load

how do I fix this?

Also should mention that the slowdown also affects my gameplay in WOW. If I am in WOW and I alttab out, I might freeze going back into the game. And the ‘won’t load bored panda’ is worse when game is running.

Next step is for me to contact the Geek Squad but was hoping it was something simple
