New connection and AVAST

I had been using Avast for more than a year and paid $20 for it.It worked very well, but now it prevents me from joining the Internet, because I have recently changed my Internet provider: Beeline instead of Domolink. I have to stop it for a while, enter the Internet,then turn it on again. What can I do to avoid such situation?

The fact you have changed ISP shouldn’t have any impact on connecting, unless the new ISP uses a proxy (were the old one didn’t) or you have also changed the method of connection, e.g. broadband instead of dial-up.

So have any of these changed ?
Are you getting any errors displayed, if so what ?

What version of avast 4.8, 5.x or 6.0, Pro or AIS, do you have ?

If you have had it for more than a year, then your license would have come up for renewal ?
Not that this would impact on your ability to connect, just that you couldn’t get and avast updates.
