New Dangerous malware! Plz, Take a look avast team!

Hello all,

In this link:

h t t p : / / 89.149.226.225 / HDTVPlayer.exe

Theres a new malware sample. It damages very hard the system.

Could someone download it (dont execute this thing) and send it to avast?
Or maybe avast team could check this link and download the file to update the VPS with this malware?

I am at work, and here I am not able to download file due to TI restrictions.

The link is disable, so no one will download the file by mistake. To download it, you should remove all the spaces in the url.

Thanks for your time,

BrBrasil

I would but at 6.5MB too big for me to download and send.

I have sent an email report to virus (at) avast (dot) com with the link and see if they can capture it.

I have sended this to virus[at]avast[dot]com now.

Hmmm…Antivir got this one, almost in the same day that it was published.
More Avs are detecting this than I would imagine…
I thought that the detection rate of this sample would be smaller… =-(

Plz Avast! Update it! =-P

Thanks for your time,

suggested to Misak…

Hi ye all,

Behind apparently harmless programs of unknown origin malware can be hiding…
Hits are found for video’s of parts of popular series. When you try to play the video you are just shown some Internet address, where you should download the Video Player to correctly play the data. If you follow this up in stead of the Video Player a Trojan Horse is being downloaded onto your PC. When you try to launch the program you activate malware also known as „DR/Zlbo.iwm“ , a trojan downloader that also invites further malware to harm your computer.
The malcreant tries to get users to download the malware with the name „HDTVXvid“. Stay clear, it is dangerous malware,
