I recently set up the Network Managed version of Avast! and since that day have been receiving some complaints from users about some of the Microsoft Office 2003 files not saving properly. I’m curious if anyone has gotten these same kinds of complaints after setting up your ADNM.
When a user goes to save his file on a shared folder in the server, a message saying that there is a Network Permission or File Error and won’t allow him to proceed, but by simply trying a few more times eventually it goes through and the file saves. On some occasions the file will save incorrectly and completely wipe all information from the file, so we end up with a Word or Excell document that is completely blank.
Sound familiar to anyone?
