New form of subscription in Avast Free?

In the old days when one installed Avast Free one must give his email and voila! After that only accepting the free option one was registered :), but now there is no such possibility. >:( It only lasts for 30 days. Why changed and how is it done now?

You have to admit it though that it’s designed in very confusing way. Why not just remove ACTIVATE button as well as subscription data page in Free version? It says it’s not needed anymore, but everything is still there and that confuses users.

1. Yep, absolutely.
2. A valid question, guess it’s related to marketing somehow.
3. Agreed, but that’s something for the devs to answer/fix…

Yes it makes completely sense to remove it completely. The button Activate seems to be obsolete, right? Yes it is, unless you work in sales department ;-(
