this is my first post in this forum so, please be kind with me 
I updated the free avast a few days ago and now I cannot upload or send files unless I disable the antivirus. Can someone tell me what to change in the settings to unblock this filter?

What error message are you getting ??? What firewall are you using ???
…no error messages, the upload bar does not move. I tried wetransfer, dropbox and mediafire and they all get stuck.
Firewall I use the one that comes with W7
Tried avast repair?
Controlpanel > ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change > repair option … wait a minute and reboot
Any change?
Thanks for that, I will try soon, happily uploading now but antivirus is disabled…I will let you know.
I don’t think it’s a software bug, I think it’s more a new feature in the new version…let’s see
Getting the same sort of problem here since ‘upgrading’ to Avast Internet Security. Is there a simple way of getting Avast to allow large file uploads to WeTransfer.com? I get no similar problem with another laptop with just Avast free installed.
