Hi …Sorry for putting this in here if its wrong but I didnt see anywhere else to put it. I find your forum very hard to get around ( sorry)
How do I modify my profile? I see that you have closed the off topics section which I think is to bad , but anyway. I`m here :slight_smile:

To be able to edit your profile you have to wait until you have 20 posts…

I also find it too bad that the off-topic is closed, but that was the desition of the admins… :frowning:

I’m quiet sure that you will get familiar with the forum… i find it quiet simple at all :slight_smile:

Nice to see a fellow Canadian here.

The forum is quite easy to navigate once you get used to it and as was mentioned before you will need 20 or more posts to update your Profile but that will come in time.

  • The problem comes from drive by spammers, who having registered put objectionable or commercial links in their profile signature to try and gain link promotion, etc.

There have also been cases of the PM function being abused to spam forum members, so you will notice that you can’t use the PM function either.

Unfortunately because of the actions of others legitimate members suffer by the actions to prevent this spamming.

I’m still learning things about the avast forums but it’s the first place i come when i have problems with avast or viruses.
