I’ve been dealing with an issue for over a year now, after installing an antivirus and signing up for a VPN. I noticed a program trying to bypass the firewall, and after accepting an update, a restart was required. Since then, I’ve found numerous files appearing in the program files, some with dates from over four months ago.
Interestingly, these files seem to reference another company, though it’s only related to me. I’m wondering if anyone here has faced a similar issue or has any advice on how to safely investigate this further?
