Just downloaded and installed Avast7. When it starts it shows the realtime shield as off and I can’t turn it on. Also the virus definition file is showing as 120223-1 which must have been updated several times by now and when I attempt an update Avast does not ‘iniiialize’ the update.
Any suggestions for a fix?
In case it’s relevant I’m running XP pro SP3
