Long time user under Windows, but I now have a Linux Mint box that needs Avast.
I registered 3 days ago, and am still waiting the activation code.
No, its NOT in the spam folder, so don’t ask about that.
I’ve tried re-registering four times with various email addresses too.
Send the stupid activation code today, please.
For a long time there is only a server version for Linux which you have to buy through a reseller.
Well there is a home PC version for Linux now.
I wouldn’t be asking about it if there wasn’t.

You can also still buy a Ford model T, but that doesn’t mean that Ford is still manufacturing, maintaining them etc.
Then why is it ON Avast’s own website?

That’s certainly not a home addition.
I’ve looked and it is not on the avast website (or I didn’t looked good enough).
Please give us the link where you have downloaded it from.
But as we already said, the only avast version is the one for servers and you need to buy it through a reseller.
