In the Log folder (…AVAST Software\Avast\log) of the latest program version I found this new log file: HtmlRemoteContent.txt
Just wondering what it is for.

Win XP Pro SP3
Avast! Free AV 6.0.1367 (Behaviour/Script Shield removed)
Looking at the content and where it goes, it appears to be related to the web content in the GUI
Can’t find it here.
Try:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\Log

One person has remote content showing, others don’t ???
At first I thought it could be related to the new “monthly report” feature that I had turned off soon after the update. The reason is that the content of my current file is only:

(which I thought can be explained by the “monthly report” feature disabled, but I’m probably wrong)
However, looking at the image you posted it also could be related to the html content in the GUI of course.
In my case it appears to create the log when i open the UI while not connected to the Internet

Probably get the same result if you have your firewall set to block AvastUI.exe
