A newly discovered email worm dubbed OSX/Tored-A once again puts the spotlight on the potential worm-ability, and malware spreading tactics targeting Apples OS X.
Bugs in the worm’s code, however, mean it is unlikely that you will ever encounter it, even if the author had taken the time to correct the many spelling mistakes in the emails it tries to send. So don’t lose too much sleep.”
I saw this yesterday but decided not to post anything about this since I didn’t want to get Mac’s dander up. ;D
He would have thought that I was picking on him and Apple again.
Since this worm is expected to never be exploited, I saw no reason for the original article in the first place except maybe
just to bash Apple. (A bashed Apple: Also known as applesauce… ;D)
Unlikely to ever be encountered. That is the whole story behind OS X malware. After what happened in the other thread I was trying not to get riled up over this.
I didn’t post this to bash Apple in any way, I read the first part and thought I’d put up a warning, then went back and read the rest and modified the post.
This will teach me to read the whole article BEFORE I post.
