New Malware Tool.

I use Prevx2 for Spyware and Malware to.
But there are now a new Quick Malware tool who scanned in 1 min your Computer.
Its Free,so i say try it.

So fast… ???
Do you believe in such scanning deepness?

I think this tool scan process, not all your system.
It hasn’t signatures, it’s like the new PC tools Program, i can’t remember the name. A 0 day tool.

I like to use nanoscan.com, same thing takes a minute. but if you try totalscan from Panda, avast detects that its trying to install a virus. I always thought that panda was a trust worthy compagny.

Panda is a trusted company. It’s spanish, but i hate his products, they are crappy sh**. There are some spanish people we don’t know how people can use VirusPanda.
The problem is Panda don’t encrypt his signatures. If you want use VirusPanda, you must close Avast frist.

That is truly the biggest problem with Panda, unencrypted signatures and the cr*p it leaves behind.

Let i say that i hate Panda Antivirus. I buy it,and it whas a compleet dissaster.
After 4 months did i remove this program, and i heared that there are may victums and ask the money back.
So,now the scanner of NOD32 who very quickly see if jou infected.
This tool takes the places on your pc where mostly Malware are to found.
But i hear that a other Tool is comming,so i wait for it.

Unfortunatelly, a well-known problem of Panda not encrypting its signatures :stuck_out_tongue:

Every virus can be identified, because it contains some unique signatures. Antiviral programs have their own database of that signatures. We call this database the "virus definition file". When an antiviral program scans a file for viruses, it compares all the signatures (of all viruses) in the database with the signatures in that file. If the signatures match (they are the same), the file is marked as infected. For an antivirus program, it is important to hide this database of signatures somehow - e.g. by encrypting it. Panda Antivirus does not encrypt its virus database - the signatures inside are clearly "visible" to other antiviral programs, so they detect this file as infected (but there is actually no virus inside - only the signatures are the same).

Similar problem here with Panda’s unencrypted definitions, but I had to clear out System Restore points to finally get Avast to stop detecting them. >:(

That is the problem with panda dumping this cr*p in your system folders as when you delete it system restore makes a copy in the system volume information folder as a _restore point.

does avast antivirus removes malware likes others spyware removal?

Whilst avast does detect and remove adware/spyware it isn’t a specialist anti-spyware application, so adding an additional anti-spyware application will improve overall detection rates.

The results of today. I have it in dutch but it must be very clear.
