PS: Falls du eine 32bit XP Version hast, solltest du ein Update auf SP3 in Betracht ziehen…!!

Updated from the PR build 5.0.590 to 5.0.594…
Again, all worked well, as expected…!

Updated from within program of previous version, no problems.

Two observations:

For what reason are the options removed to change particular settings under the predefine scans >:( Or is this the way how Avast plans to implement restoring the default settings.
When are you gone change the GUI glitch about the ZOO archive >:(

Ist nur mein “Zweit-Betriebssystem” für Win 7 inkompatible Anwendungen bzw. Spiele. Aber trotzdem Danke!!

DJBone

No problem, as long as it doesn’t connect to the net…!

It has been always like this.
The reason is that if somebody writes here (or on tech support) that he’s running a “Full system scan” (for example), we can be sure what settings are used.
You can always create your own scan, right?

In the next program update. It’s not such a critical error that it would deserve another program update itself… it can wait until the next update (even a few months).

Huh…!??
Well, also you (the devs) deserve to go on hollidays…!!

Pre-defined settings is now read-only opened… is this natural? ???
I remember this settings was not opened before.

Not a problem, just curious…

These pages were not shown at all (for the predefined scans) previously.
Now you can at least see what the settings of the predefined scans are.

Yeah, it is a good thing, maybe. Thanks.

Good. Liked that. Transparent to the user.

+1

:-X My mind is playing’ tricks on me :-X I good had sworn that I saw those options before.

Btw: the update has going without any problems

After updating to Avast Pro 5.0.594 (with Vista 64 bit OS), I am unable to get to the Internet with Avast turned on. Is anyone experiencing this issue besides me? It sounds like some feature needs to be toggled on?

No, for sure not. Which is your firewall?

Everything went smoothly here, thanks Avast Team.

No, the options that were hidden are now shown, but cannot be modified. The options that were always there retained their settings and can be modified.

The updates were smooth without any problem

Thanks!
