I keep looking at the info pages and still don’t get it. I set up the new Password Manager on my desktop last week. Works fine. I migrated all the passwords etc - I’m happy. – But what do I do on my Android phone? The old Avast Passwords app on the phone is in sync with the computer - But - I just don’t get it. Help please.

Thanks for the reply, tlcd96 - But I have already installed the new Password Manager on my computer, as per the subject line of my post. The link you shared has info I’ve already used to set up the new Manager, and it was easily done. Works great. - Now I do not understand how to update the old Avast Passwords app on my Android phone. It’s in sync with the computer - but I can’t find info on how to set the new Manager up on that device. Pretty much lost without having passwords working on my phone. —
Solved. I have the new Password Manager on my phone. End of problem. I don’t think there are clear instructions online, but the solution was simply to get the new App from the Play Store and install it without uninstalling the old Avast Passwords. A few on-screen prompts got it going for me easily.— It would help if Avast would reassure people that they shouldn’t uninstall the old app first.
