New portable Asus A7S (intel) don't want AVAST ....

just I have just sold my old portable.
and to buy nine of them
a ASUS a7S under Vista home prenium.

After to have desinstall NORTON with the software from symantec
(no trave of any Norton in register or anywhere…)
after a complete update of Vista…

I go to install my Avast Pro.

in install (say to me install echec)
but demand to restart computer…
so i do it with a start scan

start can running …

but after i’ve got the mouse on a dark screen and Vista don’t load

so i desinstall avast pro (uninstall and with clearavast from Avast.com … i change UAF security
i logon in administrator…)
i use all think … Avast “kill” Vista
so in echec mode i can start to uninstall avast, and Vista re start correctly

so … what can i do with my Avast PRO ???

The latest version of avast 4.7.1043 has just been released within the last couple of hours. See http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-4-home_pro-revision-history.html.

There has been an update for some asus systems running Vista, see image.

Download the latest version of avast http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-professional.html, scroll down to the version for your language and save it to your HDD, somewhere you can find it again. Use that when you reinstall.

Download the avast! Uninstall Utility, find it here and save it to your HDD.

Now uninstall, reboot, run the uninstall utility, reboot install the latest version, reboot. Ensure you have your registration key email as you will need to enter your key with the new installation.
