Here and there i have read that the new installer would be ready in the begin of october.
Its early still, any estimates for the exact date?
im awaiting this release so i can finally deploy this on my production network

You’re assuming that the main bugs preventing you from installing in a production environment will be fixed in the next release. ???
I wish I had waited too but what is the alternative for a NEW live enviroment- I suppose ADNM and V4.8?

I planned to upgrade the BP tonight.
but how to do the upgrade? my BP version is 1.0.888.19

I think you can install over the existing installation, but we must wait for the release for other info.
Then you can deploy the new version on the clients

@1tb yes i expect that the bugs that are preventing me at this moment to be solved. I have had a message long time ago that this release would have the fix. Of course i will test this in my test environment first.

I have upgrade my BP on Windows Server 2008 R2 and login with Administrator privilege.
Upgrade not running perfect with all avast! administration console services status on start.
Alert message popup “Service ‘avast! Administration Console’ could not be stopped. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to stop system services”
Installation success after i stop the service manually and re-run the installation file.
