new synchronize delay 360

It is installed on SBS2003 server and am getting event log every few minutes.

Warning
event ID = 1
source bcc
message “new synchronize delay 360”

What does this mean and what do I have to avoid this warning?

Thanks.

Hi,

The Bcc service is the communication service, If there’s an issue that it can’t reach the server it will show the error. IF this is a constant error you might need to take a look to make sure the device is communicationg properly. we are working on a few servers at various locations so that could be part of what’s causing the error to appear at this time.

Let me know if you have further issues or questions.

Thanks!

Jeff

I have the same issue here. “new synchronize delay 360” appears every few minutes.
I also notice another message appears frequently:

Source: bcc
ID: 1
Level: Error
Message: "synchronize - exchange FAILED -12 (2 retry) "

Avast Business Security Cloud, on Windows Server 2008 SP2 (32bit).

I am getting these warnings on my Windows 7 machine as well. According to my Event Viewer, it’s happened 16 times in the last hour, 419 in the last 24 hours, and 2602 in the last 7 days.
I’m not experiencing internet issues at all

Same here, lot’s of warning message.

Hi,
With the new release yesterday there was improvements to the backend as well. Let us know if you guys are still seeing the errors with the bcc service. I would expect to have seen this yesterday as the update was being implemented as the servers had to be taken offline to perform the update. These errors will probably be present when server load is high to control bandwidth usage and things of this nature.

Let us know if anyone has questions or issues.

Thanks!

Jeff

With update 2505 I still get a warning message every 10 minutes: new synchronize delay 360

Same here.

Is there any ways to suppress this warning? Event viewer is now flooded by this :frowning:

I have deployed Avast to 7 servers and all are flooding the logs with this error, roughly every 4-6 minutes now (sometimes more, sometimes less). Shutting off the Avast shield controls does not help. If I hit the ‘event log online help’ link in the Event viewer it brings up a window with the following info:

Product Name: Avast Business Console Client
Product Version: 1.0.0.372
Event ID: 1
Event SOurce: bcc
Locale ID: 1033

These servers are not doing much at all, they are running Hyper-V with two clients in each.

Same here aswell, a way to suppress this error would be great so it’s not cluttering up all my application logs.

Same issue here.

I’m also seeing this error on many computer’s (20+) we have Avast for Business installed on. Please let us know what it do because my monitoring software is not happy

Thanks!

I am seeing this same error as well on ALL the Windows 7 Pro machines that I installed Avast Business on. WE NEED A FIX AVAST. Please stop filling up my event logs with this junk.

Same problem here with all the pc’s that have avast business installed (windows 2012 and windows 7).

Same here. Started 20/05/2015 and still going.

Hi Guys,

I have created an issue for this for clarifiaction and to see if we can get the notifications supressed, I will update when I have more info.

Thanks!

Jeff

I have the same problem in my Windows 2012 Servers.

Still happens to me.

Same issue here. Occurs on both Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 8.1 (all 64 bit). Avast Free Business. Installed 6 PC’s with the same issue. Any update on the fix?

Any update on this? i have more than 5 machines with this bcc record flooding event logs.
