new to Avast pro. how do i use it on another pc

hi all,

i have just bought the avast pro and it states it can be used on 3 other pc / laptops.

giving me step by step instructions ;D can anyone tell me how i do this please.
I am not very technical minded or good with computers but want to install it on my partners laptop. i have loaded it up on mine but not sure what i need to do next :-\ :-\

all help will be great full :wink:
you will have to explain it to me like im a 3 yr old tho.

i have installed it on my packard bell running windows7 and this is the same laptop and operating system which my partner has only her laptop is the new version of mine, bought last week.

You only need to install it on the other Laptop and insert your license file. That’s all :slight_smile:

You need to add the license file in each computer.
Double click it :wink:

Easyest way is to copy the avast install file that you downloaded to a thumb drive and transfer it to the other computers and install, then you should only have to open up the emailed license file that was sent to you from withn the systems you are installing it on and your all set.
Please make sure that you have thoroughly removed any previous av that was installed on these systems with the correct uninstallers before installing avast.

sorry to sound dull and stupid.
am i correct in thinking then, i have to go on her laptop and sign into avast as me (obviously) and then down load the lic link that way. or could i just send my download of the lic link to a memory stick from my laptop and then transfer it to her laptop???

You can download once, save in an USB drive, use the same setup file on each computer.
Use the license key in three computers.
