new to here and having probs with a site

I am new here so I dont know if im even in the right place for help. I have just installed avast 4.8 and i am having probs when i go to a game site that I play on. I can get on the game site and everything, its just sometimes the site wont connect to play the game or even show that i am in the lobby. I am only on dialup and i was able to get in to play a game before i put avast on my puter. Is there someone who can help me plz? :cry: ??? >:(

What is your operating system and do you use a browser, like Internet Explorer or Firefox, to play these games?

We will need more information to be able to help you:

  • Which OS are you using? Is it up to date?
  • Do you use a firewall? Which one?
  • Do you have any other antivirus installed in your system? Did you have in the past?
  • Any other security programs that could interfere?
