New to this. Found a Win32:Gaobot-702[Wrm]

Hi,
I just downloaded the newest Avast and it has found a virus. Its called Win32:Gaobot-702[Wrm].
Avast gives me the options of
-Move/Rename
-Delete
-Repair
-Move to Chest

It recommends Move to Chest, but when i click on that, it says ‘Virus chest server is not running. RPC connection failed’

Any idea what I should do?

Do you have any other antivirus installed in your computer?
Did you have in the past? Which one?
Do you use a firewall? Which one?

Also, take a look into Administrative Tools > Services
and see how the four avast services are set to start (automatically or manual).

Can you try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove. Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair). You must be connected to the internet while repairing.

Can you schedule a boot-time scanning?
Start avast! > Right click the skin > Schedule a boot-time scanning. Select for scanning archives. Boot.
