Hi all, I received a new update for my Avast today, I did the update and restarted my laptop as asked to do so, after restarting I tried my Microsoft edge and it wouldn’t load into Bing, I changed it so my Microsoft edge would open with google and it wouldn’t load that either, so I uninstalled Avast, restarted my laptop and now my Microsoft edge is working perfectly fine as it was before the Avast update, I would like to reinstall Avast but if its gonna give me the same issue with my Microsoft edge then I will have to give it a miss.
It still doesn’t feel right, ever since that update and uninstalling avast I’ve reinstalled avast and my computer seems very slow, I couldn’t reinstall avast as I was getting an error, but on second attempt it did it, before I did re install there was a lot of leftovers left from avast I noticed which I couldn’t remove with the avast utility tool, tried in safe mode as requested and it kept saying error every time I clicked on it, just hope that update hasn’t messed up my system settings and I don’t have to reformat my computer.
