I went to reboot my PC and avast came up and started scanning . When it was done there were no results given do I need to look someplace else for those . also is there a place where I can schedule my avast to run a scan . thanks Roz
Maybe you choosed to do a boot-time scan after you downloaded Avast.
Nope, Avast scans your whole PC if you didn’t change the boot-time settings.
To schedule Avast to run a scan, you have to have the professional version. If you do, ummm… do what someone elce tells you because my Professional edition trail expired…
You can view a boot time scan log at Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\Data\report\aswboot.txt.

If the during Boot-Time-Scan Avast had found anything it would have stopped and alerted you…
