I have just installed Avast Pro 7, trial period. I chose a custom installation, no Gogol browser and no “remote help from a friend”. The help file “Avast5_1036.chm” states the Pro version has : avast! AutoSandbox + avast! Sandbox + avast! SafeZone.
My OS is Windows Xp Professional X64 edition with 4 GO Ram. My browser is Firefox 18. I only see in the advanced protection 2 items, “Protect the browser” and “site blocking”, nothing else. The buttons for launching either IE or FF are greyed.
About memory usage, the system requirement said 128 MB RAM. The 2 processes take only about 33 MB. I will not complain because it is light on ressource.
In order to see the log, the statistics window says to install Adobe Flash Player but I already have it. Moreover it wants to install a file called “FP32.EXE”. I do not trust it.
