New user of Avast Free Home Edition. Great so far!

Hello,

Firstly thank you so much for providing this FREE home Anti virus.

So far it works absolutely brilliantly and any newbie queries I have had so far have already been posted on this forum and therefore given me the answers I required in clear and simple speak. Thanks ever so much.

I have in the past used AVG 6 very successfully but with their new upgrade to AVG 7 I had nothing but problems. I have a Compaq Presario with Windows 98 SE.

It is great to find another program that is as good as the old AVG 6 and is compatible with my little ole computer.

Just wanted to introduce myself and say a huge thanks!!!

Having jumped ship from avg6 to avast some 8 months ago, I wouldn’t say as good as avg, I would say much better than avg6 ;D

As another former user of AVG, I downloaded and installed Avast last week. So far I am very impressed with this program. After spending weeks waiting for AVG to fix the multiple problems in their program, I finally gave up and went looking for a new user friendly program. I think I may have just found it. Only time will tell, but so far I am one happy American. :slight_smile:

Welcome, I moved from AVG to Avast about 6 months ago, and I was using a poor old computer with win98SE ;D
