New version 19.1.7085 of Avast Cleanup product has just been released!

What’s new in Avast Cleanup product?

  • New feature - Disk Doctor: performs a thorough analysis of your drives and their file systems. If any errors are found during analysis, they can be repaired automatically. This is how you guard against data loss.
  • End of support of Windows XP/Vista: This is the last version which is supported on Windows XP/Vista. Future updates will be released only to Windows 7 and higher.
  • Fixed various other bugs & issues to make Avast Cleanup smoother to use.

How you can get the latest version?

I received an email from Avast this morning saying i had a free upgrade to the new Avast Clean-Up Premium but i don’t know hoow to activate it. My laptop keeps saying that my previous subscription has run out -I had a free trial a while ago.

Iv been stuck here after the new update .please help

Suggestion: As the ACP settings are rather complex, how about adding an export/import feature (like in AV)…!?

I am not sure I understand which issue you mean. Do you refer to the previous post with not working UI showing a message “Well this is embarrassing…”?

In order to be able to help you I would like to ask you to send the log files so we can investigate where the problem is.
You can simply send them by executing our log collector utility from this path C:\Program Files (x86)\AVAST Software\Avast Cleanup\tulogcollector.exe assuming that you have still Avast Cleanup installed on your computer.
Just please add your email address there so we can join the logs with your report here.

Hello everyone,

we have released a small update which includes a couple bugfixes, namely it fixes the problem with Disk Doctor feature so now it should work without notifying you periodically about restart or the scan shall finish without any problem.

We’ve also added automatic detection of AV software registered in Windows Security Center and such AV software is not detected neither offered in the UI to be deactivated/uninstalled because we don’t want to compromise the PC’s security.

There are also other bugfixes to improve the stability and reliability of the product.
