Can a dev please tell me why Avast refuses to respect user choices?

I updated a VM from an older version (maybe 25.1) to 25.4, and afterwards “Behavior Shield + Malware Shield”, and “Cleanup and update Tools” were both installed again. Components I have explicitly unselected and uninstalled previously. I have never chosen for those components to be installed in the first place, and every time they were in the past it was the result of Avast one-sidedly deciding they needed to be present. And Avast just did it again for the n-th time!

I’m so goddamn sick of Avast not respecting my wishes and preferences.
