Anything new & exciting in the latest version? Just curious. I guess I’m spoiled because some new versions (like Firefox) come with ‘release notes.’ (Then of course there’s Micro$oft updates, with identical descriptions for almost every patch)

Just a thought - the user interface menu has avast! NEWS. Nothing new there in over a year. Good place for ‘release notes’?

Well, I guess by my post count I’m still a newbie. Not really. That just shows how often I’ve needed help in the two years I’ve used avast! (comment prompted by Number of posts of the newbies)

There are a couple of topics about this.

But, there will be another program update soon and (reading between the lines in one of them) I think, 4.7.1074 shouldn’t have been released before the other update is/was ready. So that may be why there has been no update on the version history page and it will be updated when the next program update is released. This is all speculation on my part based on what I think I read between the lines ;D

Nothing that important for final user.
Just minor adjustments. Next week we’ll have a new version, as promised.
