yes, some beta packages were built 4.5.2008, i’lll publish them here as beta at the end of the week (some further testing would be necessary).

that wx-widgets-based GUI stays quite the same, what has changed are the internals & some bug fixes.

Did you improve the integration with Gnome and KDE to have an item in context menu to scan a selected number of files?

Hallo,
ask my colleague Dublin, but AFAIK these features aren’t inmplemented yet. The new version will differs mainly in the engine (and the beta-packages with newer engine library were published already). But, those features could be scripted using avastcmd (avast from Workstation’s package in in the fact a re-wrapped avastcmd - thus, its functionality is the same).
