Hello jrpar1,

We have found a bug that may be causing your issue. One of the AdBlock configuration fields is sometimes erased. We are still trying to figure out what causes this issue. We are able to reproduce it in our automated test but only rarely - after hundreds of reinstalls and without any obvious clue why it happens

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm from the diagnostical info that your problem is the same, but it is likely that it is.

You can wait for fix from our side. I have notified our team that is responsible for AdBlock.

Or you can try one of the following ways how to resolve the problem locally.

  • Easiest way is to reinstall browser. But it may be inconvenient for you if you already used the browser for a while and want to preserve saved passwords, history, bookmarks etc. It would be possible to move them to new installation (some, not all, of the things are backed up by our account sync feature if you are using it)
  • Second option would involve using 3rd party extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/storage-area-explorer/ocfjjjjhkpapocigimmppepjgfdecjkb?hl=en and manually updating the affected field

I apologize for the troubles and let us know if you would like to assist with one of the local fixes.

Until the problem is resolved, you could always try the following,
