i have recently installed avast free from a disc from a magazine and updated successfuly.Last time i was informed that there is a new version of avast free.H ow do you install the new version. thank you.

Right click on the avast taskbar icon,

select

updating > Program update

And it will download the latest avast version and update to it.

Also try if you want,
Right click the a in your taskbar.
Go Program Settings.
Go to Updates.
From there you can decide if you want to install updates automatically, which I recommend as it’s useful to do. :slight_smile:
