Hey guys, I saw your discussion and realized that not all of you have the right beta campaign installed. You are using beta channel and get new versions but sometimes we add new extensions and these are not distributed to all users.
Performance management is displayed only when a new extension is installed. If you want to have all the latest beta features, please make sure you have campaign (cid) “9998”. You can find the number in Diagnostic information on About page.
Some of you might install beta with Anti-Virus beta and got different campaign.
To get the right campaign, please backup your bookmarks, uninstall browser, cleanup Browser registry keys under Avast Software (in HKLM and HKCU), install browser again using the link in the first post.
Regarding to version 101/100… The version is either 75.1.1528.100 or 75.1.1528.101. There is no difference in functionality. Only browser icon looks different.
So it looks like I’m not on the “right” beta and to get there, I not only need to use the removal tool
but also have to dig into the registry.
Think I’m going back to the regular full release and leave the beta testing to someone else.
I’ll just wait till the features come to the regular stable version. Thanks
Well I’m not going to go through all that. I have the regular Browser beta installed on Machine with Premier beta.
It seems to me that this addition (Performance Manager) should be made to update (via developers)through the beta channel regardless of campaign or beta.
Thanks anyway
We decided to add new extensions to all campaigns from now. All beta users should get it in the next 24 hours.
This problem should not happen again. Sorry for inconvenience.
I´m using the 75.1.1528.101 beta version cid=9998, everything is fine except the Hack Check extension that i can´t turn on, when i try to turn on doesn´t remain and turn right away off, this happens all the time even after i unnistalled the browser, cleaned registry keys from HKCU and HKLM and installed again, not working.
Hey fvmb, could you please provide us with the diagnostic information (Settings icon at the top-right > Help and About Avast Secure Browser > About Avast Secure Browser > Diagnostic Information) so we can understand the scope of the issue as I was able to reproduce this on my machine. Also do you have Avast Passwords enabled?

Hey, thank you for your quick reply.
The info that you requested :
do you have Avast Passwords enabled? if so, then this is known problem (actually wanted behavior) and is going to be solved somehow. We have to avoid multiple popups after login to website.
Yes i have Avast password enabled. So if is a Known bahaviour i need to disable avast password in order to enable hack check right? i tried and off course it worked as you said.
So i guess i will wait until avast release some kind of fix instead of this workaround, beacuse i need avast passwords enabled
On many videos it doesn’t appear at all making it pretty useless. Sorry.
It’s very hard to keep up with the changes. Features seem to change from build to build.
Could you provide Diagnostic Info and some example videos where it doesn’t work? I believe there was a known issue caused by some library changes on Youtube’s end but I will double check.
