i have found 2 new viruses…
Can you send the samples to virus@avast.com ?
You can zip and password the files… Inform a link to this thread and the password used.
Thanks.
Well… you’re with a free antivirus. They try to add an undetected virus to the database as soon as they can. But avast is not the faster one to add samples… unfortunately.
Why don’t you scan the computers on-line with Kaspersky or BitDefender?
yep i already done that 2 days ago i think [zipped and send it to virus@avast…]
i trust avast the most… the other that you are suggesting, well i have bit defender installed and updated it automatically but =(…
anyways i had another one, d.com is the file name…
Me too… but there isn’t a perfect software. Sometimes, one helps the other, layered defense, not putting all eggs in the same basket…
Does avast already detect them? I mean, does the updated virus database is protecting us against these nasties?
I think that “avast home edition” is good for home users and gamers. Performance, interface and multi-language are good properties.
For three days, i left my works and trying to solve this (d.com, u.bat, amvo.exe … ) un-known viruses or worms or trogens.
Today, i update avast and i make fast search oh the copy rar file which i send to virus@avast.com. Then an alert appared. “u.bat — bla – bla — trogen!!!”
For this free software, three days is very well. I know that i am searching and insist to solving. I realized at the same time the “AVMA” with Spy Sweeper V3,5. Nobody around me uses any software expect free ones.
At the end all of these, AVAST very good anti-virus program.
It can be better for sure. We hope they climb the best position each time. Not only for sentimental reasons, we like the company very much, but also to have a better protection level.
