Newb has questions and seeking advice. Not a big deal really.

Hey, I just recently discovered that I have trojans on my computer, I have been remedying that issue altogether in another topic.

Anyways, now that being said, I am also in the process of designing a web site. The first one I have ever done, so I have trojans on my computer, some of the files I recognized, were files I have put on my server (where my webpage is). This is not a home server, it is hosting account through byet.net. What I am wanting to know is, what should I do? I know that some files I was working with are corrupted, it showed in my boot time scan. It was a theme for either JOOMLA or SMF. Any advice here would be helpful.

What is the malware name, the infected file name, where was it found e.g. (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx) ?
Check the avast! Log Viewer (right click the avast ‘a’ icon), Warning section, this contains information on all avast detections. C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashLogV.exe

Well, if you know that you published tainted files to your webserver, I’d definitely remove them.

It wouldn’t be very nice to a visitor ;D

Also, don’t download anymore themes from the publisher… lol.
