So I’ve just gotten avast, and I am a total computer retard. My computer was fine, and I just moved… and suddenly I was getting pop-ups EVERYWHERE when I never used to get them. I was using AVG, and my friend suggested avast to me. So it detected about a million trojan viruses and adwares… and those are all “apparently” deleted… but I still get the same amount of pop-ups. Is there something that I should check off to stop pop ups, or should it just do it on its own? Because these pop ups are going to be the end of my sanity…

Most popup blockers are in the browser settings. What browser are you using so we can give more specific instructions.

Also, you did not specify what pop-ups.

Are these ad pop-ups or do you mean that they are Avast pop-ups? ???

I ask this because you indicate you have many virus infections. :frowning:
