I want to scan a file i downloaded.
I selected scan selected folder.
It scan selected folder ON
But nothing happens.
What do i do to scan the selected folder ?

Click the play button (the triangle at left).
Check the option to scan archive files and the most right option of the slider (thorough scanning).
Or right click the file and choose the avast option to scan.
