Newbie question

Shortly after downloading 4.6 home I received a screen warning which stated SIGN OF VBS:ZULA has been found. Below that in the instructions it said to DISCONNECT. I was confused and just disconnected from the internet. There were no other instructions how to rid of this worm.

Went to the Avast Log Viewer and it stated the same thing about ZULA.

I decided to run the AVAST CLEANER on my own and everything came out OK.

My question is was the Worm removed by Avast and if so how am I notified. Totally confused as This was my first encounter. Thanks for any advice,

Hi delljim!

That was the WebShield. It detected the worm on some website and it did not let u access that page. That is why it disconnected your connection from that specific website. No need to worry. You are perfectly safe. The worm never ever even reached your computer. Thats the function of the WebShield.
