Greetings forum members!
Been using avast since 4.5 on secondary box. Recent competitor’s update killed the browser on the main SOHO box. 3rd such problem since the 1st of the year. Ripped it out and the browser came back in all its glory.
After reviewing this forum, decided to move forward with 5.0.462 on the main 'puter. VERY PLEASED with the UI update and experiencing no problems at all. No performance hit, no lag, just the little orange ball, sometimes rolling during activity.
Looking forward to learning from the resident masters as well as the regular forum contributors.
