News website false positive

Hi all,

I have been using this news website for quite a long time:

http://www.newsnn.net/

But every time avast! (Free) will block it on my Windows PCs, and this is the message I get:
“Infection details:
URL: http://www.newsnn.net/|{gzip}
Infection: HTML:Script-inf
Process: C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe”

“Infection details:
URL: http://newnorfolknews.freestats.com/cgi-bin/sitestats.gif/script/12291432372814
Infection: URL:Mal
Process: C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe”

I have scanned the URL with Virus Total and Comodo Web Inspector, and they both report that it is clean.

Could you please have a look and give me the script / code that is triggering this response from avast! ?

Once I get the code I am going to report to the webmaster so he can modify it.

Cheers,
Richard

Hi,

It does not matter which browser I use, the result is the same.

I have the most up-to-date version of avast!.

To the forum moderators: is this where I should report False Positives? OR is there any other avenues that I can directly report them to the technical people?

You can report a possible FP here: https://www.avast.com/contact-us.php?subject=VIRUS-FILE

Hi,
We block your site trying to access freestats.com, which we block. I suggest using a different counter system, as this shows some shady tactics. We have been blocking freestats.com for over a year now and still were not contacted by the administrators, which is also highly suspicious.
Once you remove reference to freestats.com, Avast will stop blocking your domain immediately.

Addition:
VirusTotal does not scan websites.
