Nexway payment- unauthorised

Hi,

I was charged last night on my PayPal account (39,99 pounds) for an avast renewal I didn’t agree to.

I understand that the first time I paid for a licence, an email from you said I had signed up for automatic renewals however :

  1. last year I paid 19,99
  2. i didn’t receive any emails from avast warning me that payment wqs going to be taken soon, and yes, I checked my spam box
  3. renewal wasn’t due till 24th of December so I still had two weeks to cancel the automatic renewal.
  4. on my avast home page right now it says I haven’t renewed and still have 14 days to do so.

I want to be refunded.

What I’d like to know here is why I didn’t receive any warning emails when all the posts on here say I should have received three, and why the payment was taken last night when I still have two weeks to renew.
And why I was charged an amount that is more than the renewal price stated on my home page.

Only avast can tell you those things.
The mail is send to the email address you have set when you took the subscription.

We’re really sorry to hear that. Not receiving an email should not happen. Let me check with are e-commerce partner what happened. Would you please provide me with your Order ID or an email address which you’ve used for the purchase?
