I just installed Avast! Premiere 2015 yesterday and everything was fine. When I turned on my computer today and logged in ngtool was missing. I did a search of my hard drive and it is gone. What happened to it and how can I get it back? Do I need to do a clean install? Is there a way to get it back by doing a “repair”?

What exact version of avast?
Does you system support hardware virtualization?
Is it enabled?
What other security (related) software do you have installed or did you had installed?
Keep in mind that there have been quiet a few changes in avast 2015 compared to the 2014 version.

Avast version is Avast Premiere 2015 version 2015.10.0.2208
Avast is the only security software installed
How do I know if this system supports hardware virtualization and if it is enabled? I would assume that it is because in previous versions the ngtool was present.

Check the motherboards/bios manual.
According to BIOS Intel Virtualization Technology is enabled. Will the absence of the ngtool have any adverse effects? Will the Firewall still work properly? Will SafeZone still work properly? Is this something I need to worry about?
